Depressed and searching for purpose in life,
George seeks help from a mental clinic. Isolated in solitary
confinement, George witnesses the walls of his room begin to
morph and change, exposing enticing images and scenes. Questioning
his sanity, he receives little comfort from the clinic’s
eerie supervisor, Dr. Dioneae. Each night the images become
harder and harder to resist, but George fears that if he ventures
beyond the walls, he may never return.

About Starry
Night
Starry Night is a 20-minute original screenplay, conceived, written and produced
by the “Soul in the Wall” Production team. What makes Starry Night
unique is its incorporation of impressive digital effects. Using state of the
art software and ‘no budget, no sleep’ filmmaking strategy, the “Soul
in the Wall” visual effects team created a polished final product incorporating
live actors, virtual environments and manipulated spaces.
The “Soul in the Wall” Production Team is a group of five University
of Florida students in the Digital Arts and Sciences program. Starry Night was
conceived and produced as our senior project. We teamed up with and coordinated
many individuals across the campus and the state, in areas such as theater, art,
dance, music, and journalism to create a diverse film crew, capable of producing
this film.
